🇫🇷 French Perfumes!😶‍🌫 Long Lasting and Intense Scents!👍 Fraction of the Cost of Designer Fragrances

PRODUCT DETAILS

You get Lovely Paris as an eau de parfum, 50 ml, at about 20% fragrance oil. It costs €25, the same as every fragrance we make, whatever the original scent behind it. Shipping is free from €49 and the parcel takes 2 to 5 working days.

Mon Paris is sold as an eau de parfum, and Lovely Paris matches that concentration rather than a lighter eau de toilette. Longevity runs 6 to 9 hours, with moderate sillage that builds after the first twenty minutes.

French fragrance oils, handmade in small batches, vegan and never tested on animals. Not for you? Lovely Paris can be exchanged within 15 days.

Free shipping applies once the basket passes that mark, and delivery lands within the same 2 to 5 working day window as every other order. Lovely Paris isn't marketed as a masculine scent, and it isn't built as a niche, limited release either, it's a mainstream, fruity floral meant to be worn often rather than saved for one luxury occasion.

Patchouli, white musk, vanilla, ambroxan, moss, cedar

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Lovely Paris is our perfume dupe of Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent, made for women who want that fruity, feminine signature without the YSL price tag. It opens on strawberry, raspberry, pear and orange over bergamot and tangerine, moves into a peony and jasmine heart lifted by datura, then settles into patchouli, white musk and vanilla with a trace of ambroxan and cedar.

The strawberry, patchouli and vanilla combination is what people notice first, and it is what makes this fragrance smell like the original from the first spray. The opening is sweet and juicy, almost candy-like, then the florals soften things for an hour or two before the musky, woody base takes over and the whole thing turns quietly sensual rather than sugary.

Lovely Paris is one of the YSL dupes people search for by name, and among our fruity, feminine perfumes it's one of the fragrances customers reorder most. Reviews from people who already wear the original Mon Paris tend to mention the same strawberry-patchouli opening this dupe leans on. What lands in the heart, or middle notes, is the peony and jasmine pairing, right before the base turns quietly sensual.

Perfume concentration

EDT, EDP or EXDP - what you are actually buying

The difference between these labels is not quality but how much perfume oil sits in the bottle. That decides how long the scent stays on your skin and how far it travels.

EDT Eau de Toilette 5 to 15% perfume oil

The lightest of the three. It opens fresh and fast, but fades after three to five hours. Pleasant in heat and at the office, as long as you top it up during the day.

Our choiceEDP Eau de Parfum ~20% perfume oil

The middle ground that became the standard. It lasts six to eight hours, one spray in the morning is enough, and the scent stays recognisable into the evening without filling the room.

EXDP Extrait de Parfum 20 to 40% perfume oil

The densest form, worn in drops, and it can last over ten hours. In return it loses that easy opening, and the price per bottle climbs the most.

Why we chose EDP

Every Chez Pierre perfume is made in Eau de Parfum concentration, with 20% perfume oil. That is not by accident.

An eau de toilette would mean carrying the bottle with you and refreshing the scent after lunch. An extrait would push the price up, and only someone counting hours would notice the gain. EDP sits exactly in between: one spray in the morning carries the whole working day, and the scent opens and develops instead of settling on the skin at once.

So we don't make lighter and pricier versions of the same scent. We make one, in the concentration where that scent works best.

How a perfume is measured

Longevity, projection and sillage

Three things describe every perfume, whatever the price or the name on the bottle. Once you separate them, it is easier to say what you actually want from a scent.

01

Longevity

How many hours the scent stays on skin

Measured from the moment you spray to the moment you can no longer smell it up close. It depends on the concentration, but also on your skin: on dry skin every perfume lasts less, so a dab of unscented cream before spraying helps.

02

Projection

How far it travels around you

Strongest in the first hour, it tells you how much space the scent takes up. Big projection is great for evenings and colder days, while at the office or in a meeting it usually gets in the way more than it helps.

03

Sillage

The trail you leave behind

Pronounced „see-yazh“, it means the trail a scent leaves behind you. It is the reason someone turns around as you pass. A perfume can last a long time and still leave a small trail, and the other way round.

Strong is not the same as good. A perfume with huge projection quickly tires both you and the people around you, while one without any trail stays your own private thing.

That is why every one of our perfume descriptions says how it wears, not only how it smells.

Lovely Paris

Inspired by: Mon Paris, Yves Saint Laurent

Lovely Paris works well year round, though it comes alive fastest in warmer weather when the fruity top notes have room to shine. It suits daytime wear as easily as an evening out once the patchouli base settles in.

It is built as a feminine fragrance for women, sweet without tipping into cloying, and though we do not make it as a unisex blend, plenty of men enjoy it on the women in their life. One or two sprays in the morning is usually enough to carry through the day.

Summer is when the fruity top notes shine brightest, but the patchouli base keeps Lovely Paris just as wearable once the weather turns. It's a clear pick for her rather than a unisex blend, and reviews from customers who wear it daily describe it as an easy, go-to everyday scent.

Choose our Inspiration

Yves Saint Laurent is a French designer house with a long history in both fashion and fragrance, and Mon Paris arrived in 2016 as a modern, fruitier take on the brand's romantic side. It sits firmly in mainstream designer perfumery, sold everywhere from department stores to airport duty free, at a price most people would call affordable only for a special occasion.

Most people just call it Mon Paris or YSL Paris, and its strawberry-patchouli signature has made it one of the fragrances every list of designer perfume dupes ends up mentioning, ours included; if it smells like the bottle you remember from a department store counter, it has done its job.

Yves Saint Laurent, often shortened to YSL, built Mon Paris as a mainstream designer release rather than a niche, limited one, and it remains one of the fragrances the brand leans on most for a wide, everyday audience. It's one of the YSL perfumes and fragrances that shows up again and again on lists of fruity floral dupes.

Why choose us?

Lovely Paris is our alternative to Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris, made affordable without cutting corners on the fragrance oils themselves. It is our own blend, not a clone stamped from the same mould, made with French fragrance oils and filled by hand in small batches to smell similar to the original.

We only make it as an eau de parfum, because that concentration is what carries this kind of fruity, musky accord properly. If it does not feel similar to what you remember, send it back within 15 days and we will swap it.

Lovely Paris stays the same €25 as every other dupe in the range, with free shipping and delivery working the same way no matter which of our fragrances you order. Reviews from repeat customers are usually the same: close enough to the YSL original that they stop reaching for the luxury bottle altogether.
