My Inspiration comes as a 50 ml eau de parfum, built at roughly 20% fragrance oil. Price is €25 flat, identical for every bottle we fill. Free shipping applies from €49 and delivery takes 2 to 5 working days.

My Way is sold as an eau de parfum too, so My Inspiration matches that concentration rather than sitting closer to an eau de toilette or an extrait de parfum. The floral heart stays soft instead of sharp, and the accord reads as a clean, confident finish rather than something loud.

Longevity runs 5 to 8 hours. The oils are French, the filling is done by hand, and nothing is tested on animals. Fifteen days to exchange it if it isn't the fit you expected.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

My Inspiration is our perfume dupe of Armani My Way, and it smells like the original from the first spray. It opens on orange blossom and bergamot, moves into a heart of tuberose and Indian jasmine, and settles on vanilla, white musk and cedar.

The opening is bright and floral without turning powdery, and the jasmine takes over within the first half hour. It sits close to skin rather than filling a room, similar to how My Way itself behaves, and it holds its shape for most of the day.

Giorgio Armani built My Way inside a fashion house known for both masculine and feminine lines, and though most people wear this dupe as a scent for her, the jasmine and musk in the middle notes are soft rather than sugary, which is why it works for him too. It reads close enough to unisex that plenty of men reach for it, the same way they do with the rest of Armani's perfumes.

EDT, EDP or EXDP - what you are actually buying

The difference between these labels is not quality but how much perfume oil sits in the bottle. That decides how long the scent stays on your skin and how far it travels.

EDT Eau de Toilette 5 to 15% perfume oil

The lightest of the three. It opens fresh and fast, but fades after three to five hours. Pleasant in heat and at the office, as long as you top it up during the day.

Our choiceEDP Eau de Parfum ~20% perfume oil

The middle ground that became the standard. It lasts six to eight hours, one spray in the morning is enough, and the scent stays recognisable into the evening without filling the room.

EXDP Extrait de Parfum 20 to 40% perfume oil

The densest form, worn in drops, and it can last over ten hours. In return it loses that easy opening, and the price per bottle climbs the most.

Why we chose EDP

Every Chez Pierre perfume is made in Eau de Parfum concentration, with 20% perfume oil. That is not by accident.

An eau de toilette would mean carrying the bottle with you and refreshing the scent after lunch. An extrait would push the price up, and only someone counting hours would notice the gain. EDP sits exactly in between: one spray in the morning carries the whole working day, and the scent opens and develops instead of settling on the skin at once.

So we don't make lighter and pricier versions of the same scent. We make one, in the concentration where that scent works best.

Longevity

How many hours the scent stays on skin

Measured from the moment you spray to the moment you can no longer smell it up close. It depends on the concentration, but also on your skin: on dry skin every perfume lasts less, so a dab of unscented cream before spraying helps.

Projection

How far it travels around you

Strongest in the first hour, it tells you how much space the scent takes up. Big projection is great for evenings and colder days, while at the office or in a meeting it usually gets in the way more than it helps.

Sillage

The trail you leave behind

Pronounced „see-yazh“, it means the trail a scent leaves behind you. It is the reason someone turns around as you pass. A perfume can last a long time and still leave a small trail, and the other way round.

Strong is not the same as good. A perfume with huge projection quickly tires both you and the people around you, while one without any trail stays your own private thing.

My Inspiration works through most of the year, though it comes alive fastest in spring and summer when the orange blossom has warmth to work with. In winter it still holds up under a coat, just a touch quieter than in warmer months.

It's a feminine fragrance built for anyone who wants a floral that leans soft rather than sweet, equally at home in the office or on a night out. It is our affordable alternative to Giorgio Armani's My Way, and one of the gentler florals we make.

Giorgio Armani is an Italian luxury label, and My Way launched in 2020 as one of its newer entries into modern florals, quickly finding a place among niche and designer fragrances alike. The brand built it around a message of independence, and the composition reflects that with a bright, confident opening rather than anything shy.

Giorgio Armani himself wanted a fragrance that captured quiet confidence rather than loud glamour, and My Way became one of the label's most recognised perfumes almost immediately.
