Eau de parfum, 50 ml, with roughly 20% fragrance oil. It costs €25, the same as every scent we make, whatever the original behind it. Free shipping on orders from €55 and delivery in 2 to 5 working days.

Creed Aventus is sold as an eau de parfum, so Aventure matches that concentration. It is denser than a typical eau de toilette and far from a light eau de cologne, without going as heavy as an extrait de parfum.

Longevity is 5 to 10 hours. French fragrance oils, handmade, vegan and never tested on animals. You have 15 days to exchange it if it does not suit you.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Aventure is our perfume dupe of Creed Aventus, made for men who already know that scent and want to wear it every day. It opens on bergamot, blackcurrant, apple and pineapple, moves into birch, patchouli, rose and jasmine, and settles on musk, oakmoss, vanilla and ambergris.

The smoky pineapple accord is the part everyone recognises. The first half hour is bright and a little sharp, then the birch takes over and the fragrance turns drier and warmer. Projection is strongest in the first two hours; after that it sits closer to the skin but the trail stays with you through the working day.

I got what i paid for… A perfume from Temu!
Cheap smelling, doesnt last long.

If they have sold 2 million bottles and they have 50000+ reviews why are there only few reviews on their website??? Suspicious! Where are those 50000 reviews?

Disappointed. The perfume is sitting in the bin already. Waste of money!

Perfume concentration

EDT, EDP or EXDP - what you are actually buying

The difference between these labels is not quality but how much perfume oil sits in the bottle. That decides how long the scent stays on your skin and how far it travels.

EDT Eau de Toilette 5 to 15% perfume oil

The lightest of the three. It opens fresh and fast, but fades after three to five hours. Pleasant in heat and at the office, as long as you top it up during the day.

Our choiceEDP Eau de Parfum ~20% perfume oil

The middle ground that became the standard. It lasts six to eight hours, one spray in the morning is enough, and the scent stays recognisable into the evening without filling the room.

EXDP Extrait de Parfum 20 to 40% perfume oil

The densest form, worn in drops, and it can last over ten hours. In return it loses that easy opening, and the price per bottle climbs the most.

Why we chose EDP

Every Chez Pierre perfume is made in Eau de Parfum concentration, with 20% perfume oil. That is not by accident.

An eau de toilette would mean carrying the bottle with you and refreshing the scent after lunch. An extrait would push the price up, and only someone counting hours would notice the gain. EDP sits exactly in between: one spray in the morning carries the whole working day, and the scent opens and develops instead of settling on the skin at once.

So we don't make lighter and pricier versions of the same scent. We make one, in the concentration where that scent works best.

Three things describe every perfume, whatever the price or the name on the bottle. Once you separate them, it is easier to say what you actually want from a scent.

Longevity

How many hours the scent stays on skin

Measured from the moment you spray to the moment you can no longer smell it up close. It depends on the concentration, but also on your skin: on dry skin every perfume lasts less, so a dab of unscented cream before spraying helps.

Projection

How far it travels around you

Strongest in the first hour, it tells you how much space the scent takes up. Big projection is great for evenings and colder days, while at the office or in a meeting it usually gets in the way more than it helps.

Sillage

The trail you leave behind

Pronounced „see-yazh“, it means the trail a scent leaves behind you. It is the reason someone turns around as you pass. A perfume can last a long time and still leave a small trail, and the other way round.

Strong is not the same as good. A perfume with huge projection quickly tires both you and the people around you, while one without any trail stays your own private thing.

That is why every one of our perfume descriptions says how it wears, not only how it smells.

Aventure works all year, but it comes into its own from autumn into winter, when the smoky side has something to hold on to. In summer it still reads fresh because of the fruit up top, so one spray in the morning is usually enough.

It suits the office as easily as a night out. Most people wear it as a masculine scent, though plenty of women wear it too, so treat it as close to unisex if that is your taste.

Creed is a French perfume house, and Aventus arrived in 2010 for the 250th anniversary of the brand. Olivier Creed put it together and it became the fragrance the house is now known for, the one every list of designer and niche scents ends up mentioning.

People rarely say the full name. In shops and on forums it is simply Aventus, and that is what most of the perfume dupes on the market are chasing.
