🇫🇷 French Perfumes!😶‍🌫 Long Lasting and Intense Scents!👍 Fraction of the Cost of Designer Fragrances

PRODUCT DETAILS

Eau de parfum, 50 ml, made with around 20% fragrance oil. It costs an affordable €25, the same as every fragrance dupe we make, whatever the original behind it. Free shipping on orders from €49, with delivery in 2 to 5 working days.

The original comes as an eau de parfum, and ours matches that concentration rather than a lighter EDT, since the blackcurrant and patchouli need the extra oil to stay rich rather than thin, without reaching for the weight of an extrait de parfum.

Longevity runs 6 to 8 hours. Handmade in France, vegan and cruelty free, never tested on animals. If Simona is not what you expected, you have 15 days to exchange it.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Simona is our perfume dupe inspired by Si by Giorgio Armani, built for anyone who wants that rich, chypre-floral character with real depth. It opens on blackcurrant, moves into may rose and freesia at the heart, and settles into vanilla, patchouli, woody notes and ambroxan.

That blackcurrant and patchouli combination is what people remember, sharp and fruity at first, then warm and slightly sweet through the drydown. Worn blind, it smells like the original's rich, ambery finish, and it only grows warmer as the hours pass. It reads intense and feminine, built for women who want a fragrance with real presence. Compared with our other fragrances, this is one of the richest we make.

Perfume concentration

EDT, EDP or EXDP - what you are actually buying

The difference between these labels is not quality but how much perfume oil sits in the bottle. That decides how long the scent stays on your skin and how far it travels.

EDT Eau de Toilette 5 to 15% perfume oil

The lightest of the three. It opens fresh and fast, but fades after three to five hours. Pleasant in heat and at the office, as long as you top it up during the day.

Our choiceEDP Eau de Parfum ~20% perfume oil

The middle ground that became the standard. It lasts six to eight hours, one spray in the morning is enough, and the scent stays recognisable into the evening without filling the room.

EXDP Extrait de Parfum 20 to 40% perfume oil

The densest form, worn in drops, and it can last over ten hours. In return it loses that easy opening, and the price per bottle climbs the most.

Why we chose EDP

Every Chez Pierre perfume is made in Eau de Parfum concentration, with 20% perfume oil. That is not by accident.

An eau de toilette would mean carrying the bottle with you and refreshing the scent after lunch. An extrait would push the price up, and only someone counting hours would notice the gain. EDP sits exactly in between: one spray in the morning carries the whole working day, and the scent opens and develops instead of settling on the skin at once.

So we don't make lighter and pricier versions of the same scent. We make one, in the concentration where that scent works best.

How a perfume is measured

Longevity, projection and sillage

Three things describe every perfume, whatever the price or the name on the bottle. Once you separate them, it is easier to say what you actually want from a scent.

01

Longevity

How many hours the scent stays on skin

Measured from the moment you spray to the moment you can no longer smell it up close. It depends on the concentration, but also on your skin: on dry skin every perfume lasts less, so a dab of unscented cream before spraying helps.

02

Projection

How far it travels around you

Strongest in the first hour, it tells you how much space the scent takes up. Big projection is great for evenings and colder days, while at the office or in a meeting it usually gets in the way more than it helps.

03

Sillage

The trail you leave behind

Pronounced „see-yazh“, it means the trail a scent leaves behind you. It is the reason someone turns around as you pass. A perfume can last a long time and still leave a small trail, and the other way round.

Strong is not the same as good. A perfume with huge projection quickly tires both you and the people around you, while one without any trail stays your own private thing.

That is why every one of our perfume descriptions says how it wears, not only how it smells.

Simona

Inspired by: Si, Armani

Simona wears well through every season, even summer with a lighter hand, though it comes into its own from autumn into winter, in the evening, when the ambery, patchouli base has the most to offer. It suits date nights and special occasions more than a quiet office day.

It's built as a fragrance for her, with a clearly feminine character rather than unisex, though the blackcurrant opening keeps the vanilla base from feeling overly sweet. It isn't marketed as a scent for him, unlike our masculine woody blends, but a handful of men still wear it for the patchouli alone.

Choose our Inspiration

Si arrived from Giorgio Armani as a chypre built around blackcurrant, rose and patchouli, aimed at women who wanted something more sophisticated than a simple floral. It sits firmly in designer, luxury territory rather than niche perfumery, and the house built its whole identity around that blackcurrant-patchouli accord.

People rarely use the full name Giorgio Armani Si. Reviews consistently mention the same rich, ambery finish, and most perfume dupes, clones and alternatives on the market are chasing that same rich, grown-up character.

Why choose us?

Simona is our alternative to Si by Giorgio Armani (Giorgio Armani Si), made to smell similar to the original's blackcurrant and patchouli accord using French fragrance oils and filled by hand in small batches. We call it a dupe, not an imitation, built independently around the same rich, ambery character.

We only make it as an eau de parfum, since that concentration holds the blackcurrant and patchouli base longer than a lighter edition would, using the same top notes, middle notes and base structure as the original fragrance. If it doesn't match what you remember, you have 15 days to send it back.
