Louis Vuitton’s California Dream was launched in 2020, crafted by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud (the nose behind LV’s entire Les Colognes collection). Inspired by the warm hues of a West Coast sunset, this fragrance stood out because of its fresh yet musky balance. It quickly became a summer staple, especially among those who love citrusy yet cozy scents.
Since its release, California Dream has gained a loyal following, praised for its unique ability to be both refreshing and sensual. The problem? The price tag. While LV fragrances are luxurious, not everyone wants to spend that much on a daily wear scent.

Scent Profile
The mandarin, bergamot, and grapefruit hit hard, super bright and juicy. The blackcurrant has a slight sweetness. The red thyme adds a herbal hint that makes it feel more refined than your typical zesty blast.
It then gets spicy with black pepper, giving it warmth and depth, while the orange blossom adds a subtle floral softness. It’s not an overly sweet floral but fresher and cleaner.
