Not a Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun, the original this dupe is built from, is sold as an eau de parfum, and Silent Note matches that same concentration rather than a lighter eau de toilette.

Silent Note is our perfume dupe of Not a Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun, built around a single ingredient rather than a traditional pyramid. Top, heart and base all come from the same source, cetalox and ambroxan, so what you smell on application is close to what lingers hours later.

Cetalox reads clean, musky and faintly woody rather than sweet or floral, which is exactly the point behind the original and why people describe it as not a perfume in the first place. On skin it behaves less like a fragrance and more like a warm, ambery skin accord, and it genuinely smells like skin rather than a bottle. As a fragrance dupe built around one note, it isn't chasing a full traditional composition, it's after the same quiet effect the original is known for: something that smells like your own skin on a good day.
