Moon Eclipse comes as a 50 ml eau de parfum, built at roughly 20% fragrance oil. It costs €25, an affordable price fixed across our whole range, whichever house inspired the bottle. Delivery takes 2 to 5 working days and is free on orders from €50.

Luna Rossa Black is sold as an eau de parfum, and Moon Eclipse matches that concentration rather than a lighter eau de toilette, so expect a dense, smoky scent rather than something airy.

Longevity runs 6 to 10 hours on skin. French fragrance oils, filled by hand, vegan and never tested on animals. You have 15 days to exchange it if the bottle isn't right for you.

Moon Eclipse is our perfume dupe of Luna Rossa Black by Prada, built for anyone who wants that same dark, smoky signature and something that smells similar to it, without hunting the original down every time it's out of stock. It opens with bergamot, moves into an angelica and patchouli heart, then settles into coumarin, amber and musk.

The coumarin and patchouli accord is what people notice first, warm and slightly sweet rather than sharp. Longevity runs long and projection stays noticeable through the evening before it settles closer to the skin. Moon Eclipse is a masculine fragrance, built for men who want a scent with real presence.

Concentrazione del profumo

EDT, EDP o EXDP - cosa stai comprando davvero

La differenza tra queste sigle non sta nella qualità ma in quanto olio profumato c'è nel flacone. Da questo dipende quanto a lungo il profumo resta sulla pelle e quanto si diffonde attorno a te.

EDT Eau de Toilette dal 5 al 15% di olio profumato

Il più leggero dei tre. Apre fresco e veloce, ma svanisce dopo tre o cinque ore. Piacevole con il caldo e in ufficio, a patto di rinnovarlo durante la giornata.

La nostra sceltaEDP Eau de Parfum ~20% di olio profumato

La via di mezzo diventata standard. Dura dalle sei alle otto ore, basta uno spruzzo al mattino e il profumo resta riconoscibile fino a sera senza saturare la stanza.

EXDP Extrait de Parfum dal 20 al 40% di olio profumato

La forma più densa, si porta a gocce e può durare oltre dieci ore. In cambio perde leggerezza in apertura e il prezzo per flacone è quello che sale di più.

Perché abbiamo scelto l'EDP

Ogni profumo Chez Pierre nasce in concentrazione Eau de Parfum, con il 20% di olio profumato. Non è un caso.

Un eau de toilette ti chiederebbe di portare il flacone con te e rinfrescare il profumo nel pomeriggio. Un extrait alzerebbe il prezzo, e il guadagno lo noterebbe solo chi conta le ore. L'EDP sta esattamente nel mezzo: uno spruzzo al mattino regge l'intera giornata di lavoro e il profumo si apre e si sviluppa invece di posarsi subito sulla pelle.

Per questo non facciamo versioni più leggere e più costose dello stesso profumo. Ne facciamo una, nella concentrazione in cui quel profumo rende al meglio.

Persistenza, proiezione e scia

Tre cose descrivono ogni profumo, a prescindere dal prezzo e dal nome sul flacone. Una volta separate, è più facile dire cosa cerchi davvero in una fragranza.

Persistenza

Quante ore resta sulla pelle

Si misura dal momento in cui spruzzi a quello in cui non lo senti più da vicino. Dipende dalla concentrazione, ma anche dalla pelle: sulla pelle secca ogni profumo dura meno, per questo aiuta una goccia di crema senza profumo prima di spruzzare.

Proiezione

Quanto si diffonde attorno a te

È più forte nella prima ora e dice quanto spazio occupa il profumo. Una grande proiezione è perfetta per la sera e per le giornate fredde, mentre in ufficio o in riunione di solito disturba più di quanto aiuti.

Scia

La traccia che lasci quando passi

In francese sillage, si pronuncia «siiazh» ed è la traccia che il profumo lascia dietro di te. È il motivo per cui qualcuno si gira al tuo passaggio. Un profumo può durare a lungo e lasciare poca scia, e viceversa.

Forte non vuol dire buono. Un profumo con una proiezione enorme stanca in fretta te e chi ti sta intorno, mentre uno senza alcuna scia resta soltanto una cosa tua.

Per questo nella descrizione di ogni nostro profumo scriviamo come si porta, non solo come profuma.

It suits an evening out just as easily, especially where the sweeter base notes can stand out. This is a masculine scent, built for him, and most people wear it as a single, confident spray.

People rarely use the full name. In shops and on forums it is usually just Luna Rossa Black, and that recognition is exactly what drives demand for a perfume dupe built around it.
