Upon opening, the cinnamon and oud hit hard. It's warm, a little fiery, and beautifully blended with the saffron and nutmeg. The incense comes in quickly, adding this dry, almost meditative smokiness. But then, unexpectedly, there’s this crisp, juicy green apple and white pear peeking through, adding brightness.
As it settles, the patchouli starts to bloom, grounding the scent with that earthy, slightly damp richness. The jasmine is there, but it doesn’t turn this into a floral fragrance. Instead, it adds a soft, almost creamy undertone that smooths the transition from the bold opening to the deeper base notes.
The dry down of tobacco and Madagascar vanilla create this intoxicating, sweet but smoky aroma. The amber adds a warm, almost golden glow, while the sandalwood and guaiac wood give it a creamy, polished woodiness.
